Job Summary:
The Trane Technologies Internship Program provides current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. This internship opportunity will be in Clarksville, TN and is offered to candidates pursuing degrees in engineering, supply chain management, and related fields.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as On-Site in Clarksville, Tennessee.
What you will do:
- The candidate selected for this role will have the opportunity to:
- Learn and apply continuous improvement tools such as 5S, value stream mapping, kanban replenishment systems, standardized work, identifying/eliminating waste, pull systems, and one-piece-flow.
- Learn and apply process analysis tools.
- Develop, implement, and improve aspects of the production process management system, such as visual management, tiered daily improvement meetings, data collection & visualization, and project management.
- Gain a deeper understanding of behavioral operational excellence ideologies, such as the Shingo Model.
- Participate in kaizen events and problem-solving projects.
What you will bring:
- We are looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. Our ideal candidate is someone who:
- Is currently enrolled in a BS/BA program in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field at an accredited institution.
- Has and maintains during internship a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
- Has experience with leadership and team building.
- Has a passion for learning and is eager to learn more about continuous improvement tools and principles.
- Has the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
