As an Account Manager you will provide sales support to the Dealer & Parts sales processes, enhancing customer service level capabilities.

In this role, you are primarily responsible for delivering on our business strategy by developing long-term customer relationships with building owners and strengthening our existing customer base with a focus on providing customers a total solution for the most energy efficient buildings. Where is the work: 

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite per week) based out of San Juan, PR.

 

What you will do:  

  • Handle general phone calls, e-mails & in-house customer inquiries and requests for Parts & Unitary departments.
  • Dealer equipment price quotes
  • Conduct sales of HVAC parts, equipment, & supplies over the phone, and walk-in customers.
  • Provides technical support to customers
  • Provides equipment & parts inventory availability
  • Receives & process customers equipment & parts orders
  • Actively makes aware customers of products promotions
  • Responds to customers enquiries, questions, or complaints regarding products or services
  • Knowledge of the Trane product line to be able and demonstrate and discuss with customers
  • Follows up verbally or in writing to ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Proper canalization of customer inquiries to other departments.
  • Willing to work under pressure and able to perform the duties on time.
  • Customer oriented and excellent interpersonal relations.
  • Enquires and communicates customer’s perceptions by gathering customer feedback and sharing information with management.
  • Able to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Follows up to Unitary Projects, managing commercial variables like Pipeline Management and Accounts Management, using Trane designated tools, like Salesforce or similar.


What you will bring: 
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Computer knowledge (Windows, MS Office, Oracle)
  • Two years certificate from college (associate degree) or technical school in HVAC, and three to five years of customer service experience dealing directly with customers.
