The Data Insights Analyst will be responsible to use the company’s data assets to generate in-depth studies and analyses for the Trane Supply strategic business unit, identifying growth opportunities, inefficiencies, and process improvement opportunities. Business leaders will depend on this position to help them leverage the depth of the company’s data assets to support ongoing business decisions. The analyst will work cross-functionally across several functional teams (including Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance) to ensure that the business is solving the right problems with the right solutions to add value and productivity for the company.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as Remote and work will be performed ________. (TAP to enter locations or time zones as needed)
- Be the leading Data Analyst for the Supply business, able to support functional needs across Product Management, Engineering and Materials/Operations
- Understand business strategy and stakeholder requirements to determine the best solution to meet its needs
- Lead development and deployment of best-in-class analytics solutions to enable simplified self-service capabilities by functional leaders & users
- Share solutions and critical thinking techniques within organization to enhance knowledge and ability across Enterprise
- Work with Data Engineers to develop data structures required to combine multiple data sets to allow for multi-faceted data exploration and performance dashboards
- Create, improve, and maintain Tableau dashboards around Market Opportunities & Trends and Product Portfolio analytics
- Manage deployment of analytics solutions through standard work development, training sessions, and on-going support for business teams – serve as the Analytics Subject-Matter Expert for the Supply business
- Operate in an agile fashion to deliver regular “demos” to our stakeholders
- Develop and present complex, customized presentations of findings to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Ability to expand into some Data Science skills as needed to develop advanced analytics on large datasets
- 3 to 5+ years Analytics experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 5+ years of relative experience required in lieu of degree
- Mastery of data analysis tools and technology such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Microsoft Excel, or similar
- Preferred experience with cloud infrastructure and data modeling
- Change Management: Demonstrated ability to drive change and overcome challenges of legacy tools and processes
- Communication: Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner
- Organizational Skills: Handles multiple tasks with ease, self-prioritizes, documents progress and methods
- Dealing with Ambiguity: Able to fill in gaps in understanding and requirements and work with customers to improve clarity
- Innate Curiosity: Constantly drives to learn more, ask questions, seek better outcomes
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Builds relationships with customers and other partners to continuously understand their needs
Base Pay Range: $
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, and geographic location where the work is performed.
