Job Summary:

Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting (MAMF) Apprenticeship

 Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a 1st year MAMF Apprentice to join our Team. We are seeking candidates who are innovative, diligent, ambitious, ability to learn on the job, and have very good communication skills.

All MAMF apprentices will be trained in the following:

Over the 4-year apprenticeship, you will gain a very broad ranging knowledge of all aspects of in-house manufacturing of equipment and bench fitting as well as touching into automation projects: 

·       Working with a variety of specialised tools

·       Working on hydraulic & mechanical systems

·       Interpreting technical drawings and diagrams

·       Assembling new products

·       Dismantling, Repair/Fitting of new parts

·       Electrical machine components installation

REQUIREMENTS:

·       Successfully completed Leaving Certificate

·       Having previously studied Technical Graphics (TG), Metalwork or Engineering an advantage, however, not essential

·       Punctual and well organized

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Flexible and willing to learn new skills

·       Have a genuine interest in becoming a MAMF Fitter; a passion for working with metal and your hands

·       Ability to collaborate as a team and work independently

·       Fluent in English
