Assembler 2nd Shift
Position Description
- Aware of the safety, quality, and production of the team.
- Ability to learn skill sets including caulking, installation of unit parts/components, labeling, cleaning for audits, etc…
- Ability to use power tools such as grinders, screw guns, caulking guns, etc…
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend down and reach up.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to work at heights, either via ladder or fall protection.
- Assist the team in decision making, problem solving, and continuous improvement process.
- Perform duties as needed associated with the performance of the work cell.
- Must be able to learn and perform all jobs within a team.
- Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety
- Assist in identifying and resolving problems.
- Perform any additional duties as required.
- Complete ongoing training as required.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn all tasks required to perform the job.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to use equipment and maintain general understanding of business process.
- Ability to perform work in a varied environment (Examples: on ladders, in high places, in confined areas).
- Knowledge of and willingness to comply with all general work rules, policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and procedures.
- Good teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to identify routine problem causation and correct routine problems.
- Basic math skills.
- Commitment to performing quality work.
- Ability to learn to operate all equipment associated with the job; including, but not limited to, power hand tools, forklifts, skyjacks, cranes, and measuring devices.
