Trane is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a talented professional to join our team as an Associate Program manager - Agile / Hybrid. In this pivotal role, you will lead Program including complex New Product Development (NPD), Productivity, Ready to serve, Quality and reliability and Technology projects. This dynamic position provides the chance to collaborate with diverse regional teams and present innovative solutions to business leaders, ensuring alignment with the company's sustainability initiatives. By driving these critical projects, the Associate Program Manager will significantly contribute to advancing Trane's commitment to sustainable practices and technological excellence.

Where is the work:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 4 days each week.

What will you do:

In this role you will:

       Fulfill the role of the Associate Program Manager Agile / Hybrid and all that it entails.

       Understand project requirements, collaborate with project owners, leaders & cross functional teams across the globe for delivery of projects, by adhering to standard processes, systems and project management principles.

       Ensure the completion of project milestones/deliverables within committed Quality (Q), Delivery (D), Project cost (C) & Product cost (C), track performance and progress of project against committed QDC targets

       Report out project updates, risks and mitigations, productivity updates, QDC metrics, deployment efficiency, timesheet data, during the monthly Operations review meeting with ETC leadership team • Project management of Strategic organization initiatives aligned with futuristics skills such as AI driven Project management and Predictive modeling, Data science analysis, sustainability initiatives

       Implement the required Agile methodology effectively – Scrum / Kanban / Nexus / SAFe / Other

       Ensure the development team follows established product development procedures and practices to leverage shared organizational knowledge and experience

        Manage and coach our teams on the industry’s best agile practices

       Radiate information to promote accountability and continuous improvement

       Focus on process optimization, value delivery, Business value realization, connecting Agile to customer needs

       Provide practical expertise, ensuring teams run efficiently and work aligns with business value

       Align Agile initiatives with business goals, focusing on scaling, governance, and strategic outcomes

       Adhere to general project management principles of Project scope management, time management, cost management, risk management and stakeholder management

       Manage ETC PPM project portfolio / Project agreements of respective teams and publish the monthly billing data for the respective teams

       Lead/Assist Annual Operating Planning (AOP) discussions with respective SBUs/NOEs and corporate teams

       Collaborate to continuously improve process, systems and develop/refine standard works

What you will bring:

       Expertise in Program / Project management, Agile methodologies Scrum / Kanban / Scaled Agile

       Expertise in Agile Transformation, DevSecOps, AI integration

       Technically competent with Microsoft Office tools, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Project, MIRO, AI tools

       Experience in leading New Product development (NPD) and Agile projects of varying size and complexity • Experience in driving cultural change by championing an agile mindset and ensuring the organization is at the forefront of industry’s best practices

       Ability to manage program finances and ensure cost-effectiveness

       Ability to develop and manage projects budget, schedule & timeline and ability to drive program specific goals and actions to closure 

• Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management and understand the impact of a project to the overall business. Ownership mindset to foster culture of ownership and accountability

       Work with project teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for the adoption of agile best practices. Lead from the front, coach project team members, take initiative and implement changes.

       Being bold and Courageous to raise issues to upper management

       Effective communication, presentation skills. Ability to learn and collaborate with cross cultural project teams

       Good interpersonal skills, coaching and mentoring various engineering functional teams to build strong cross-functional teams

       Self-starter with a desire to make a significant impact on the product development process

       You have 4-year degree from an accredited institution. Technical degree in engineering or computer science preferred with 12+ years of overall industry experience. • You are a certified PMP certified project management professional & Agile Certified (CSM/PSM/KMP/ PMI-ACP/SAFe cert/ICP Agile cert) with minimum 6+ yrs. of Project management, Scrum Master, Agile experience

       Proven leadership, facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills with exceptional attention to detail
