In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as full-time, on-site at our La Crosse facility and is considered safety sensitive.
What you will do:
Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for, and as an integral part of, all new product introductions and product enhancement programs, using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA, 3P (Production, Preparation Process), 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology
Assumes responsibility for Capital planning, CER creations and Approvals, Capital Project Timing and Implementation, Capital Spending and Budgeting/ Assumes responsibility for Plant VA/VE Savings
Ensures all equipment meets OSHA compliant safety regulations
Drives engineering principles and discipline through mentoring, training and project reviews including: PFMEA, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Dynamic Control Plans (DCP), Lean Tools, Project Management and Simultaneous Engineering
Working with a cross functional team to manages, develop, and improve testing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, and systems
What you will bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines
3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of basic design and manufacturing datum development and its effect in manufacturing processes
Understanding of control system design and coding
Project leadership and team building skills required
Possess initiative to further develop technical skills, interpersonal skills and career path
Strong work ethic, great attitude, customer-focused, team-oriented and results driven
Compensation:
Enter salary/hourly rate here $80,000-110,000/annually
