Core Technician

 Trane in Belgium is hiring a Service Technician to join our team. 

 

What you will do:  

• Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Use a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer’s location.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files
• Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact
• Provide re-training and follow-up training at customer site.
• Determine parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need
• Document work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration; and maintaining files.
• Turn in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Keep current on all Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair.
• Read and interpret product specifications and experience in working with building specifications, drawings and designs.

 

What you will bring: 

• Refrigerant Certification
• Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience as a service technician for refrigeration equipment.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of: Centrifugal chillers, Scroll Chillers, Screw chillers, Condensing units, AHU & FCU
• BA4/BA5 Certification
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to communicate in Dutch (French / English would be an asset)
• Good communication skills and ability to work with clients.
• VCA Certification is plus
