Trane Technologies Enterprise Application team is a is currently looking for a Deployment Lead to join our Business Operations team. This role involves leading high performing functional and technical business transformation teams of 20 to 35 people per site location, to move business locations (manufacturing plants, sales & service centers, and distribution centers) onto Trane Technologies’ Global, ERP platform. This role will have oversight of multi-million-dollar, multi-site, highly complex business transformation projects and be the leader on the ground partnering with local and regional business leadership and functional teams to lead the business through the corporate transformation methodology. This role directs the teams through early business alignment on scope, and resource identification, while ensuring the appropriate governance and compliance processes are followed throughout the project.
The Deployment Leader will have project oversight from accelerated business readiness (ABR) through stabilization, and ensure the project delivers on critical QDCs (quality, on time delivery, and within budget) by developing a strong collaboration with project manager and solution architect.

Where is the work:
This is a Remote position.
What you will do:
- Good understanding of corporate programs objectives, organization, and governance processes and oversee identification and engagement of project resources.
- Facilitate the use of project management methodology, best practices, and standards to support the deployment along with serving as the key escalation point for deployment issues.
- Ensures project team members adhere to the Enterprise Global Design and avoid customized solutions, analyzes and finds alternatives to ineffective or outdated standard practices.
- Partners with project manager and solution architect to secure a timely project execution and an optimal efficiency of the solution delivered and manages intra-project dependencies and their interrelationship and impact upon other programs and projects.
- Designs/implements effective reporting practices to manage and oversee multiple teams working in parallel and develops business cases and funding scenarios to aid management in decision making.
- Assesses key risk areas at each point during the deployment and develop mitigation plans, reports on the deployment progress to the corporate/SBU IT and business leadership and regularly involves relevant stakeholders in identifying the root causes of problems.
- Considers multiple alternatives for addressing problems and is astute at assessing risk.
- Develops and manages a program/project delivery roadmap to identify and track milestones for delivery of key features. Oversees continuous team review and prioritization of scope (backlog) needed to achieve each milestone.
- Responsible for the overall coordination of all activities required for a deployment including but not limited to:
- Requirements capture and disposition.
- Ensuring timely delivery of developments.
- Defining a thorough testing scope and plan engaging all business and system partners.
- Driving comprehensive test cycles.
- Provide business team with transparent defects or business impacts resolution processes.
- Program management and resource alignment for related projects.
- Drives consensus and resolves conflicts quickly.
- Develops, socializes and communicates project milestones and key deliverables with project team and stakeholders.
- Collaborative, team player with the ability to connect across groups and a proven ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and facilitate a working environment conducive to maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What you will bring:
- BS/BA in Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT or similar field.
- 10+ years of experience in functional management and/or cross-functional process design. This experience must include integration of business processes across the enterprise.
- Experience with all levels of communication and show proven expertise in managing cross-functional design efforts and leading through influence.
- Ability to solve complex enterprise-wide business problems to determine solutions that will yield expected business results through integrated high performing business processes.
- Ability to lead a diverse team of business, technology, and consulting resources across multiple work streams.
- Proven experience in designing high performing business processes (cross-functional, enterprise-wide capabilities).
- Effective personal and interpersonal skills (including the ability to influence others, lead cross-functional teams, and drive new capabilities and new ways of thinking into the organization). Candidates must have experience in managing enterprise-wide relationships to ensure that process designs are established with linkage across the organization.
- Effective communication skills (both oral and written).
- Proven experience in quality assurance reviews of major enterprise-level business process models.
- Experience with manufacturing companies is preferred.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $123,000 - $164,000
Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
