Design/Drafting Technician Intern

This position has been designated as On-Site.
What you will do:
- Produces designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems.
- Documentation of parts and bills of materials
- Understands and adheres to design and drafting standard practices.
- Works from oral or written engineering instructions, procedures, schematics, drawings and sketches.
- Responsible for completion of assignments, detects and corrects own errors. Not responsible for supervision or work of others.
- Maintains competency level of computer aided graphic system and other applications through company provided training and materials.
- Adheres to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
What you will bring:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be a current, full-time student enrolled in a mechanical, architectural, electrical, or electronic design associate's degree program with an accredited technical school, with full intentions to complete the program.
- Understands basic principles of designing equipment, drafting and computer aided design and applies principles to assigned tasks.
- Working knowledge of computer aided graphic system.
- Function in a technical engineering “team” environment.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $18/hour
