As a Designer II, you will work on the development of mechanical designs and drawings for various projects, incorporating electrical components and systems. This role requires a candidate with some experience in mechanical design and an understanding of electrical principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated and efficient designs.


Where is the work:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.


What you will do:

  • Develop mechanical designs, schematics, and layouts for various air-handler products.
  • Prepare and update mechanical and electrical parts, drawings, and assemblies using 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor, Creo, Revit, etc.).
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
  • Conduct calculations and analysis to support design decisions and ensure system integrity.
  • Review and interpret technical documents, such as specifications, schematics, and codes.
  • Create and alter configurable rules for new and existing designs.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

What you will bring:

  • Associate’s degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in mechanical design.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Inventor, CREO, Revit,) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, SKM PowerTools).

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annually 

Base Pay Range: Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
