Job Summary:

To provide support for all warehousing responsibilities within a geographic district supporting residential and light commercial HVAC equipment and supply facilities.

Where is the work: 

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

What you will do: 

  • Interface directly with customers (internal and external), suppliers, National Distribution Center, Transportation, Customer Service, District General Managers and Store leadership to assure goal alignment and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate warehouse safety processes including facility safety audits, incident investigation, and integrating safe work practices throughout daily warehouse operations
  • Provide interface with National Distribution Center regarding orders, warehouses, and delivery.
  • May provide leadership to warehouse team members (up to 15) including participation in performance evaluation, development and hiring.
  • Initiate, plan, and support orientation and training programs.
  • Assist in the coordination of the warehouse moves and/or opening of new facilities.
  • Identify, develop, and implement operational best practices and processes improvements for local field warehouses to improve productivity, cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures inventory accuracy and quality by working with field leadership.
  • Stock and arrange product to ensure warehouse inventory turns.
  • Coordinate annual warehouse inventory.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, resolve escalated delivery issues.
  • Ensure dealer receives undamaged product.
  • Ensures compliance of Trane standards.
  • Oversee cleanliness of warehouses.
  • Ensures all maintenance and upkeep for forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Field warehouse operations including but not limited to successful implications of performance scorecard metrics.
  • Other support services as needed.
  • Position may supervise a small team for stand-alone warehouses. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. 

What you will bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum  8 -10 years warehousing and distribution management and multi site, or large site experience 
  • Ability to lead and support a safe work environment.
  • Proven ability to follow through on commitments and details.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Team skills, both as a leader and team member.
  • High level of personal initiative coupled with good planning, organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business and problem solving skills (including at the consumer level.)
  • Highly self-motivated, goal oriented.
  • Demonstrated competence in computer usage. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Oracle and/or Profit 21experience a plus.

Compensation:   

Starts at $ 85K and up, plus incentive. 

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
