Electrical Apprentice
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Learning and assisting in the installation, commission, test, monitor, fault finding, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of plant equipment
- Assisting the team in undertaking specific problem solving leading to rectification of system faults, utilizing historical data and testing equipment to diagnose and formulate solutions to technical issue
- Complete all relevant documentation for all work activities to ensure effective equipment histories and maintenance records kep
- Assist and carry out non-routine and routine maintenance as per the preventative maintenance schedule
- Applicants must be eligible to undertake the SOLAS Standard Based Apprenticeship Programme (go to www.solas.ie for further information on placement program and rates of pay).
- Successfully completed Leaving Certificate with a minimum of an O5 grade in pass maths
- Punctual and well organized with good communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Complete onsite Technical/Competency Assessment
- Flexible and willing to learn new skills as directed by your Manager.
- Have a genuine interest in becoming a qualified Electrician.
- Fluent in English
- Ability to collaborate as a team and work independently
