What will you do

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing customer contract claims (Warranty and Contract Claims), determining failure modes, preparing appropriate case documentation, and ensuring accurate communication of findings. You will process claims for payment, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide analytical insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead contract claim (product maintenance) reviews in collaboration with the SBU/Product Group
• Support special warranty assignments with minimal supervision
• Develop claim‑data dashboards in coordination with the warranty team
• Support service teams in managing Field Service Report (FSR) portals
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to perform trend analysis and support Design for Serviceability (DFS) initiatives
• Communicate product maintenance and repair contract issues to senior management, including short‑notice escalations
• Support annual warranty targets related to warranty spend
• Compile quotes based on technician or client inputs
• Enter and manage parts information within ERP systems
• Partner with internal and external teams to resolve conflicts related to global product maintenance claims
• Track and report service‑level metrics and key KPIs
• Support continuous improvement of multi‑contract offerings
• Verify additional service labor cost/time against standard values
• Ensure project deliverables meet Quality, Delivery, and Cost (QDC) expectations


What you will bring

• BE degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with strong academic performance
• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in transport refrigeration or automobile industry (preferred)
• Working knowledge of Oracle, OMS, Ikare, Mfg/Pro, and EDMS
• Additional language proficiency (especially European languages) is a plus


Key Competencies

• Ability to work collaboratively across business units, hierarchies, and functions
• Strong capability to identify and analyze in‑warranty and post‑warranty repair needs
• Skilled in analyzing, reviewing, and approving maintenance and repair contract claims
• Understanding of warranties across multiple units, regions, and customer segments
• Proactive, independent decision‑making with strong analytical capability
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of Standard and Extended Warranty processes
• Understanding of maintenance contracts such as AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and repair contracts
• Good understanding of service and maintenance contract structures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external dealers
