Job Summary:
Trane Technologies part-time student employment provides current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. Our opportunity is offered to candidates working towards their Bachelor's or associate in operations, engineering, data/analytics, IT, finance, human resources, marketing, technical sales, contracting PM, and energy engineering.

 Students interested in Part-time Student Employment with Trane Technologies must be able to work Full-time during the Summer (40 hours weekly) and Part-time during the School year (no more than 20 hours weekly).

Responsibilities Specific to this Position:

·       Problem-solving – able to define a problem, determine the causes of a problem, identify, prioritize, and select alternatives for a solution, and implement a solution.

·       Decision-Making – able to purposefully determine a course of action from a set of alternative options to reach an objective or goal.

·       Project management – applies knowledge and skills to initiate, plan, and execute projects effectively.

·       Technical excellence – demonstrates technical understanding and learning and can collaborate with others.

Successful Candidate’s Profile:

We are looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus.

·       Able to work Full-time (40 hours) during the Summer.

·       Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs - zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences.

·       Rapidly resolve problems to maximize customer satisfaction.

·       Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently, such as prioritizing tasks based on importance.

• Must be currently enrolled in a BS/BA or associate degree in operations, engineering, data/analytics, IT, finance, human resources, marketing, technical sales, contracting PM, and energy engineering.
• Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects.
• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

 

Salary Information:

Base Pay Range: $21.00 – $28.50 (Based on year completed)
