Equipment Sales Engineer (AL-KO) 

Location: Switzerland 

The Equipment Sales Engineer (AHU and Extraction Technology Business) is responsible for introducing the recently acquired AHU business (AL-KO) to the Swiss market and developing and growing the AHU customer base in Switzerland by achieving assigned sales targets. We are looking for a sales engineer with expertise in AHU equipment to join our successful sales team. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer requirements and advise on the most appropriate solutions and options to fulfil their needs based on extensive site research and contact with the customer.
  • Personal accountability for the in-country sales budget.
  • Building a customer database, prospecting for customers and initiating new business opportunities
  • Liaising with customers to build relationships with the companies.
  • Liaise with the Sales Manager and other Equipment Sales Engineers to create business opportunities for other units and develop a business plan for the appointed region.
  • Achieving agreed targets and objectives.
  • Preparing quotations for customers.
  • Produce monthly sales forecasts
  • Working effectively and collaboratively with regional and national colleagues to support the growth of AHU products in the market.
  • Participate in sales and technical meetings as required.
     

Requirements: 

  • In-depth knowledge of ventilation/air side products and the market
  • Degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical engineer, HVAC engineer)
  • Previous technical sales experience is an advantage 
  • Sound technical knowledge of products and solutions with the ability to recognise the customer's needs and find the best solution for them.
  • High level of personal presentation.
  • Territory management.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (50% of the time)
  • Communicative English
  • Passion and energy for exploring and building a new market
