Job Summary:
The ESG Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the company's ESG reporting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving improvements in ESG data management. This role will report to the ESG External Reporting Leader and partner with representatives from our businesses and various functions, including the Center for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability (CEES) team, to ensure compliant ESG disclosures and consistent external messaging.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Support the overall project execution to meet new regulatory requirements for external ESG reporting
  • Partner with leaders across the businesses and functions to analyze and close gaps in current ESG disclosures in order to meet regulatory requirements and align with external messaging
  • Implement new reporting tools and drive continuous improvement efforts to streamline and optimize reporting efficiency and accuracy
  • Continuously monitor for new regulations and reporting requirements across the globe; research and understand potential impacts to current reporting requirements and then document it and educate others
  • Lead annual double materiality assessment process
  • Learn about our businesses, their products and processes, and how they relate to ESG metrics and disclosure requirements
  • Collaborate with CEES, internal audit, functional teams and external partners to design and/or modify internal controls to ensure a robust environment for ESG data reporting

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, ESG or related field
  • Understanding of external reporting standards (preferably knowledge of ESG/sustainability standards and ESG related reporting frameworks)
  • Understanding of reporting systems, processes and control frameworks
  • Data management and analytics tool proficiency

Key Competencies:
  • Ability to lead, influence, and coordinate work across teams within the organization 
  • Strong communication skills including written and oral presentation skills with an ability to interact at different levels of the organization, including executives
  • Ability to work independently yet manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective problem-solving skills that result in the development of actionable solutions

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: $92,200-125,000

Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
