Position Description
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining manufacturing site facilities functions and addressing the needs of internal customers
He/ She will engage in the repair of facilities systems either directly or by coordinating contractors
Essential Job Functions
Troubleshoots building systems and organizes or carries out repairs.
Determines root cause of failures and recommends/leads preventive actions.
Interacts with employees in all functions at all levels in the organization.
Review, Schedule, and lead PMs produced from the CMMS system that require outside contractor inspections/work.
Effectively communicates to internal customers, updates and changes being implemented in and around the site.
Organizes and develops justifications for Capital projects that include building systems & equipment.
Reviews and compares contractor quotes and contracts, making analytical decisions.
Develop S.O.W for jobs, communicate expectations to contractors, reviews, and awards bids accordingly.
Coordinates & tracks projects from job award to last invoice.
Oversees most of the permanently on-site contractors – including but not limited to Security & Housekeeping
Responsible for the overall building infrastructure, health and condition.
Understanding of building systems, contractor relationships, and general manufacturing
Uses a variety of lock-out/tag-out devices as required per plant LOTO Plan.
Ability to adjust schedule to accommodate work preformed in and around the site.
Education, Experience & Skills
High School Diploma required or GED equivalent required.
Technical degree preferred.
Three (3) plus years of Facilities experience required
Three (3) plus years of experience in leading projects and/or people
Strong mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance experience required
Experience in equipment replacement projects and justifications required
Sense of leadership required
Must be able to read building prints and electrical schematics
Great Communication skills
Must be able to multitask and manage several projects at a time

Physical Requirements
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone. Mobility within the work facility.
