Job Summary:
Take the leadership for all quality aspects for our customer needs. Interface with our customers and our business units to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer's requirements for quality and reliability. Be the Customer’s Advocate in quality by representing customer's quality and reliability requirements inside the product/business organizations. 
Represent Trane´s quality and reliability to the customer and manage their expectations.
Lead the Calorimeter Laboratory to validate compressors performance and reliability. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Be the customer’s key contact and interface for all quality and reliability related aspects. Act as focal point for all quality related customer communications (internally and externally for HVAC and Compressors BU).
  • Improve customer score card and performance metrics values to ensure smooth business WP PPM's & COPQ.
  • Lead problem resolution teams and be primary interface to the customer on quality and reliability issues. Lead improvement on Warranty and Concessions indicators. By the use of quality tools and data analysis technics will help to identify root cause of problems and potential resolution.
  • Daily verification and reporting of warranty and concession performance for Monterrey Plant. (MDI Quality Boards).
  • Monitor damage unit performance on field and warehouses (Asis) and generate improvement plans as applicable.
  • Coordinate customer visits and participate on improvement projects.
  • Actively drive customer quality improvement programs as well as the advanced products quality planning for new products (APQP / safe launch).
  • Ensure Trane products meet or exceed both business and customer quality and reliability requirements.
  • Be active member of our ISO9001 quality system. Audit process and systems to ensure compliance and improvement. 
  • Coordinate the engineering testing laboratory/test stands (Technicians workload, budget for operation and laboratory improvements).

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
  • Quality System and Process Controls (DOE, SPC, Minitab, Control Plan, AMEF, 8D´s, ISO-9001). High knowledge of GD&T, Technical Personnel supervision.
  • Problem solving, Organizing, planning, Self-driven, Organized, Customer oriented, High integrity, Analytical thinking, Team worker. Spanish and English fluent.
  • Metrology Knowledge & GD&T., Lab. equipment experience,  Microsoft office.
  • Basics of thermodynamics, electricity and HVAC Systems.
