Function overview:
Trane is looking for a FSR & Project Engineer to support our datacenter customers in Denmark.
Your tasks consist of:
Perform complex diagnoses and repairs of equipment and systems at customer’s location.
Perform complex preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests.
Perform complex repairs of mechanical and electro-mechanical components of productive and non-productive equipment and machinery.
Carrying out commissioning and take part in planned on call duties.
Daily reporting of hours and activities by means of a digital work order, inspection list and time sheet to the Service Department.
Managing own stock, materials, tools, and PPE in the service vehicle.
Frequent trips to our factory in France (Epinal) to follow up on orders and ensure everything runs smoothly and meets customer requirements.
Your profile:
This role plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by servicing complex products and equipment on assigned projects.
Able to effectively manage complex technical projects.
Effectively communicate, negotiate, and influence different stakeholders.
Develop and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally, and leading by example through adhering to the leadership principles.
May provide coaching, act as subject matter expert for less experienced technicians and customers and may provide sales support to account managers.
Ability to perform all work in the service and maintenance field on all major types of equipment.
Works under limited supervision.
Uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
This role requires around 5+ years of relevant experience in refrigeration or HVAC technology or equivalent combination of education (Technical School) and experience.
In possession of a European F-gas certificate.
Several years’ experience as FSR.
Able to drive and work in Denmark.
Strong ability to work flexibly across multiple locations.
Excellent written and oral communication, in English.
Good laptop experience is preferred.
