Job Summary:
The Hourly Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring hourly employees for our facility. This position will require on-site presence to effectively manage the recruitment process and ensure a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume recruiting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified hourly candidates.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and community partnerships.
- Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Candidate Management:
- Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future openings.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Onboarding:
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment metrics.
- Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR team members and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Participate in job fairs, community events, and other recruitment activities to promote the company and attract talent.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-volume recruiting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment:
- This position will require an on-site presence at our facility.
