Job Summary: 

The IT Client Solutions Engineer will work with multiple technical teams throughout the organization to drive the best client endpoint technologies and services to meet our company’s needs. This role will also be responsible for resolving company requests and managing configuration, security, and innovation for client endpoint devices including, but not limited to, computers, printers, handheld scanners, tablets, wearables, and peripherals. In addition, the IT Client Solutions Engineer will work with other technologies such as Directory Services, Azure, and Intune.

This position is also responsible for participating in setting company standards and strategies regarding client endpoints. They will work closely with the Digital Risk teams to ensure all solutions are configured to protect the company from cybersecurity risks or vulnerabilities. The IT Client Solutions Engineer will also be expected to collaborate closely with other IT functions and business partners to research and design the best strategic solutions.

The position will also participate in IT related projects and lean activities.

Responsibilities:

·       Provide technical client endpoint solutions for business requirements.

·       Support technical solutions and ensure reliable, secure client endpoint devices.

·       Provide an overall approach to client endpoint implementations accounting for technical requirements, business input, the user experience, and interoperability with existing systems.

·       Participate in an array of IT projects and business projects and strategic decisions.

·       Deliver innovative solutions to challenging customer problems.

·       Recommend and participate in the design and implementation of client endpoint standards, tools, and methodologies.

·       End-to-end involvement in client endpoint projects from requirements gathering, technology assessment, vendor selection, implementation, and handoff to operations.

·       Leverage lean principles to drive process improvements and automation to lead to a better employee experience.

·       Ensure that all internal customer inquiries and issues are solved correctly and in a prompt and professional manner.

 

 

Additional Responsibilities:

·       Participate and collaborate on

¾    Configuration, strategy, and solutions for client endpoint device management system(s).

¾    Strategic solutions for deployments and configuration of client endpoint devices.

¾    Cloud platform administration and maintenance.

¾    Patching, servicing Windows/iOS/Linux and third-party software.

¾    Providing reporting and metrics for ongoing operational activities.

¾    Configure, test, deploy and operationally support client endpoint security applications, policies, and configurations.

 

Ideal Qualifications and Competencies:

 

·       Bachelor’s degree in related IT technical field

·       Minimum of 5+ years of IT technical experience

·       Ability to effectively collaborate with other teams and leaders to achieve a positive, productive outcome.

·       Demonstrates a professional attitude.

·       Ability to be self-driven.

·       Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.

·       Proficient oral and written communications skills

·       Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

·       Ability to evaluate priorities and drive effective time management.

·       Required Deep technical and hands on experience in administration and supporting:

¾    Configuration management, OSD and patching technologies, preferred experience with MECM, Intune and Patch my PC.

¾    Endpoint Management tools preferred MECM and Intune
