Job Summary:

·       Provides advanced break/fix support (PC’s/Personal Printers/Multifunction Printers/faxes/legacy phone systems).

·       Perform on-site, repair and/or installation of computers.

·       Providing technical support to Internal customers on operational or maintenance aspects of equipment.

·       Performing general maintenance tasks and resolves problems immediately, while more complex issues are identified to a higher level of support.

·       Diagnosing mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures, using established procedures.

·       Aligns business needs to IT hardware and network capabilities.

·       Supports business/sector specific IT infrastructure and hands on activities.

·       Identifies opportunities to leverage and improve use of IT infrastructure.

·       Develops improvement recommendations to optimize service delivery.

·       Participate and contribute to asset optimization.

Key Competencies:

  • Hands on experience in troubleshooting Windows based (multiple versions) laptops / Desktops.
  • Working knowledge of Incident management ITSM platform, preferably ServiceNow
  • Basic knowledge of computer networks, Servers, Linux.
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, Ability to explain key processes and procedures, to communicate well in a team setting.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to perform with minimal supervision.

·       Makes & keeps commitments.

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in providing onsite technical support.
  • BE/B.Tech/BSc/ Diploma in computer science or any related field
