Trane Technologies is hiring an Intern for the Logistics Coordinator function in Oshawa. In this role, you will support the Canadian Region by executing projects including completion of standard work, conducting transportation planning, and assisting with reviewing logistics invoicing accuracy. You will work to ensure that transportation decisions include rates, on-time delivery, and quality to create the “best value” for both Trane Technologies and the customer.  

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as onsite.

What you will do:

  • Provide logistics planning for assigned facilities
  • Develop and implement innovative and aggressive approaches to transportation process and price reduction improvements
  • Contribute to long-range planning and priority setting for transportation
  • Invoicing review and reconciliation

What you will bring:

  • Current enrolment in a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, Engineering or related field
  • 1+ years’ experience in Supply Chain or Transportation preferred
  • Transportation management systems experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications with emphasis on Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members

Compensation: 

Base Pay Range: $50,000/yr and up based on experience.
