Trane has an exciting opportunity for an Onboarding Coordinator in our Commercial HVAC Sales & Services organization. You’ll be responsible for pre- hire onboarding coordination through the first 30 days post hire assimilation for HVAC Service Technicians. In this role, you will measure success by offering an inspiring introduction to Trane Technologies to ensure all new team members receive a consistent understanding of our organization, feel connected to their work and team, and are engaged and excited to be a proud representative to our customers.

Where is the work:
This is a remote position.
What you will do:
- Ensure high quality of new hire onboarding life-cycle process by acting as main point of contact for newly hired employees.
- Collaborate with the new hires, are service managers, hiring managers, human resources, and talent acquisition team.
- Ensure that all pre-hire tasks are provided to team members in a timely manner to ensure that we meet the agreed upon start date.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure pre and post hire tasks assigned to new hire are effectively assigned in a timely manner. Monitor the progress.
- Through onboarding automation program assist with fleet, safety, uniforms, and company assets to ensure technician is ready for field work.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and propose solutions to enhance the candidate experience and overall onboarding process.
- Ability to recognize when to escalate issues that would impact the experience for a new hire and the hiring managers.
What you will bring:
- Associate degree from an accredited university or college in related area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant work experience).
- Prior experience in human resources or HVAC industry is desired.
- Extremely organized, strong project management skills, and ability to meet release dates and deadlines.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy at a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and document management tools, or onboarding coordination tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Power Automate) is required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across various levels and departments.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to:
- DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Compensation: Base Pay Range: $48,000 to $98,000 per year
