Job Summary：

Responsible for helping drive continuous improvement plant-wide by assisting in the rapid prototyping of improvement ideas and developing them into cost-effective solutions and implementing in the production environment
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate tables, workstations, carts, tool stands, fixtures, ergonomic assists, safety devices, and other tools that will help improve quality, productivity, and safety
- Work with operators on improvement ideas for production process and tool creation required for takt attainment
- Modify and maintain any existing equipment or tools created
- Support RIE/Kaizen events with ideas and tangible OPEX application
- Knowledge and thinking process of the lean tools
- Expertise in fabrication and maintenance tools such as saws, welds, brakes, lathes, milling machines and other tools required for fabrication
- Creativity and problem solving
Key Competencies:
- Proficient in a wide range of fabrication and maintenance tools - saws, welders, shears, brakes, lathe, and milling machines, etc.
- Ability to be creative, be a problem solver, and think critically.
- Mathematical aptitude such as measuring.
- Able to promote Lean tools and influence change.
Requirements:
- Three or more years as a welder, fabricator, or machinist
- Proficient in a wide range of fabrication tools and maintenance tools - saws, welders, shears, brakes, lathe, and milling machines, etc
- Ability to be creative, be a problem solver, and think critically
- Mathematical aptitude such as measuring
