Job Summary:
The 2nd Shift Nurse at Trane Technologies is responsible for defining and fulfilling the requirements, roles, and responsibilities necessary to deliver optimal occupational health services. The 2nd Shift Nurse will develop, interpret, and administer employee health, wellbeing, and preventative health services. Additionally, the 2nd Shift Nurse will coordinate and manage medical surveillance and training in alignment with Corporate Medical Services, Be Well, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements. The role also involves facilitating care and case management for both work-related and non-work-related employee illnesses and injuries.
This position has been designated as On-Site. This position is on 2nd shift from 3:00p – 11:30pm.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as On-Site.
What you will do:
- Develop, interpret, and administer employee health, wellness, safety, and preventative services.
- Ability to coordinate, detect, diagnose, evaluate, inspect, and observe health conditions and treat accordingly.
- Provide initial assessment and direct care, including treatment of work-related injuries and personal illnesses.
- Coordinate and train as it relates to the Corporate Medical Services, Health Progress and Environmental Safety and Health (EHS) requirements.
- Facilitate care/case management for work and non-work-related employee illness and injury.
- Ensure a safe working environment for self and coworkers by following regulatory agency and organizational policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits and other administrative tasks to ensure proper documentation is maintained.
What you will bring:
- Current State Licensure – Must have an active and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of South Carolina.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience emergency or clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of occupational health highly preferred.
- CPR / BLS Provider certification required.
- Proficient experience using outlook, excel, and other computer skills.
- Comfortable working alone

- Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely clinical care flow.

- Exceptional ability to document, organize and maintain health related records.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain medical confidentiality and privacy.
- Flexible work schedule including working occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Timely and effective communication as demonstrated through strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service and time management skills.
- Demonstrate ability to work closely with corporate and location management teams (e.g. Human Resources, EHS, Corporate Medical Services, location leaders, etc.) in the completion of goals and strategies.
- Partner with local leadership regarding personal, work-related injuries, employee return to work, and work restrictions.
- Knowledge of governmental regulatory requirements.
- Training in the use and proper fitting of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e. equipment that is worn to protect against safety and health hazards)
- Ability to lead and train 2nd and 3rd shift first responders
- Comfortable working alone
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $60,000-$75,000
