Trane Technologies is looking for an exceptional Manufacturing Manager to join our team in Pueblo, CO. In this role, you will empower and lead a dedicated production team to safely and flawlessly deliver daily build plans that help bring innovative, sustainable climate solutions to life. Where is the work:

On-site (5 days) at our Pueblo, CO facility; this role is considered safety-sensitive. 

What you will do: 

  • Lead 4–6 direct reports with a total span of 120–150 employees, inspiring a high-performance and inclusive team culture.

  • Champion a safe work environment by driving safety leading indicators, engaging teams in corrective actions, and empowering employees to implement meaningful safety improvements.
  • Instill a “build it right the first time” mindset through strong process adherence and commitment to achieving high first-pass yield and exceptional product quality.
  • Develop and execute operational plans that enable the area to consistently achieve monthly output and performance targets.
  • Align individual employee goals with business priorities while providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Own and advance the area’s strategic direction through rapid learning, experimentation, and deployment of actions that deliver world-class quality at the lowest cost.
  • Apply Lean tools—including 9-Step Problem Solving, Strategy A3s, Managing for Daily Improvement, and SCRUM routines—to continuously improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Accelerate team member growth by assigning stretch projects, supporting skill development, and connecting employees to training and advancement opportunities.
  • Contribute insights to new processes, equipment, and the plant’s Long-Range Plan to strengthen future capabilities.
  • Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team, helping shape long-term strategy and champion a culture of operational excellence, collaboration, and competitiveness.

     

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • At least 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience.

  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: Materials, Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Quality.

  • Proven ability to apply Lean tools and concepts to improve processes and develop people.

  • Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills.

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing multiple processes effectively.

Compensation: 

Base Pay Range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually

Additional Compensation: This position us eleigible for our annual bonus (AIM) program.
