Painter (1st Shift)
FULL-TIME POSITION ON 1st SHIFT. Hiring bonus $500.00 after 90 days for new hires.
Starting pay:$18.00
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
Certifications: Forklift, if necessary

Rejected or reworked painted parts
Minimum Qualifications
Comfortable with using computer (email, data entry, and touch screens for equipment)
Introductory Level: Primary focus is learning the process
Successful completion of introductory period (6 months)
Understands, accepts, and supports vision and key business goals

Basic understanding, support and commitment to the team and continuous improvement

Essential Functions (Maximum Timeframe 6 months)
Able to properly inspect, load and unload the paint system
Able to properly prepare parts for the paint system (sanding, plugging, eye bolts, etc)
Able to load, unload and operate the burn-off oven
Understand and follow the work instructions and quality standards for the department
Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs)
Qualified Level: Primary focus is performing the essential duties of the position
Is committed to a continuous self-development plan

Understand and demonstrate proper sequencing of the system
Understand kanban systems and their elements (including the FIFO supermarket)
Able to demonstrate the ability to operate the sequencing computer system.
Able to train others in all aspects of the position
