Product Engineering Intern

This position for a Chiller Product Engineer Intern includes responsibility for product design, application, controls, drives/starters, productivity, and product enhancements related to Water-Cooled chillers produced in the Trane-Pueblo facility.  This Engineering Intern will be involved in New Product design & VAVE projects and participate in team decision making and problem solving with employees throughout the organization.

This position has been designated as On-Site.  

Interaction with business processes may include design/drafting, materials, systems, production planning, manufacturing, quality, and safety.  An experienced engineer will provide assignment guidance and mentoring for specific projects.

Qualifications:

• Min. Sophmore with good standing in BS/BA in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
• Must be able to work in team environment and to interact within a cross-functional team
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work on and complete a project with moderate direction and guidance.
• Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly; ability to adjust to changing demands, priorities, and objectives required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and strong PC skills required.
