The Product Manager will support the Data Center portion of Trane's commercial services offering within the Americas Commercial HVAC sector. This role involves assisting in the development and execution of strategies to achieve revenue growth, maintain market share, and expand margins.

Seeking a high-energy, results and data driven individual with knowledge of commercial services delivery, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results. Preference for internal knowledge of Trane reporting application, product selectors and other business management tools.  The ideal candidate is a proactive and analytical professional with strong communication skills and knowledge of Trane’s service business.

Where is the work:  This is a virtual position.

What you will do: 

  • Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans for the data center services offering.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to support product development efforts and enhancements.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Engage with customers, sales and service delivery teams to gather feedback and insights to inform product strategies and priorities.

  • Actively manage day to day needs of data center services offering, ensuring smooth execution of tasks, timely delivery of projects and effective collaboration among project team members.

  • Conduct regular industry, market and competitor analyses.

  • Assist in development of business cases for new product development projects.

  • Review and suggest adjustments to offer structure, pricing, policies or service features to better meet customer needs and expectations, based on regular product/service line reviews.

  • Regularly update and maintain project schedules and tracking tools to ensure accurate timelines, resource allocation, and progress monitoring, facilitating effective project management and timely delivery.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree with related experience required.

  • 5+ years of experience in service sales, execution or product management.

  • HVAC experience, knowledge of building systems operation, field service, and product preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence

  • Good quantitative and analytical skills

  • Ability to travel independently up to 20% of the time required.

Compensation: 

Base Pay Range: $91,000 - $160,300

Total Compensation for this role will also include an incentive plan.
