This Manufacturing Program Manager is responsible for the creation of custom computer room air handler units based on customer order specifications, project schedules, and job quotations. This Engineer must have the technical expertise to develop and lead product design projects, supervise product validation testing, drive to root cause for quality and reliability issues, interpret technical agency standards, and conduct projects in accordance with standard engineering practices.

Where is the work:
On-Site (5 days)
What you will do:
Develops quality and manufacturing process concepts for new designs and existing product changes.
- Provide manufacturing engineering support for special engineered products.
- Review engineering designs confirming manufacturing capability or sourcing capability.
- Create product and PFMEA (Process FMEAs) to drive control plant development.
- Review engineering changes to existing products to determine effects on current manufacturing processes; update processes and documentation to support viable changes.
- Determine effects of process and product changes on tooling, CNC programming and other methods of manufacture.
- Recommend and justify requests for capital; analyze and evaluate production capacities and resource requirements for each project.
- Drive project speed and measurable results on schedule and budget.
- Take responsibility for all communication between manufacturing, product engineer, and marketing on project status.
What you will bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 3-years of engineering work experience is required.
- HVAC experience is a plus.
- Master's Degree in Engineering or MBA is a plus.
Key Competencies:
- Proficiency in AutoCad is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint).
- Understanding of various components used within HVAC systems such as coils, filters, dampers, motors, and fans, piping packages, 3 phase power wiring systems and HVAC control systems.
- Organization and project management skills required to balance multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be a self-starter with a high energy level and career commitment.
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team structure.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $120,000
