This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule and will be based out of our Bellevue, WA location. Flexible work from home options available. 


Job Summary:

Trane has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Project Administrator in Bellevue, WA Service group. Locations for this role would be Bellevue, WA.

Under direct supervision, the Service Project Administrator is responsible for routine project documentation, materials, job costing, status monitoring, invoicing, and administrative closeout of each project.  This position is required to closely interact with the Admin Team Leader, Area Service Manager, and assigned service team members to ensure the timely completion of each project. 

Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  •  Sets-up service agreements and quoted projects in system application based on transition documents.
  • Coordinates with various team members for accurate and timely recording of project costs, including materials, time sheets, labor hour allocation, daily reports, etc.
  • Responsible for general administrative functions to include processing service claims, purchase orders, prevailing wage documentation, account set up, subcontracts, and initiating invoicing. 
  • Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.
  • Communicates effectively with other team members.
  • Schedule and participate in internal project team meetings to ensure accurate transfer of information.
  • Validates cost to date and reconciles project data in business system.
  • Reviews billing backlog and performs daily billing, and coordinates/communicates with Area Service Managers, HVAC Field Technicians, customers, and Trane claims as necessary to resolve obstacles 


  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three (3) plus years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred not required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.


Base Pay Range: $62,000 - $68,000 / year

This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
