Job Summary:
Trane Technologies is hiring a Materials Project Manager, New Product Introduction in La Crosse, WI. This role is responsible for planning and overseeing new product introduction within supply chain, material planning, material flow, and the manufacturing plant. The Materials Project Manager will collaborate with engineering, procurement, materials, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful execution of phase-in and phase-out activities.

Where is the work:
- This position has been designated as On-Site.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of components and materials required for NPI activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development initiatives.
- Facilitates phase-in / phase-out projects associated with design changes, value-engineering, supplier sourcing changes, and product lifecycle management tools.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and critical path analyses to track progress and identify potential risks.
- Oversee material readiness and PPAP processes. Track work order or manufacturing deviations required for manufacturing assessment and verification.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to support phase-in / phase-out requirements. Mitigate obsolete inventory risks throughout the supply chain.
- Organize demand planning and supplier forecast changes. Organize master data and planning parameter updates. Organize changes to supplier stocking agreements. Recommend changes to internal stocking levels.
- Organize PFEP strategies including material flow, material delivery methods and replenishment triggers.
- Problem-solve top issues causing material issues / outages in production; implement solutions and facilitate activities to improve material availability.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, materials management, engineering, or similar discipline.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the integrated functions of manufacturing.
- APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is desired.
- Experience with rate-based or flow line (non-MRP) and job shop manufacturing environments.
- Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.

- Must be resourceful, can find solutions to unusual problems and meet customer needs.
- Must have good understanding of manufacturing material flow in a warehouse and factory.
- This is a safety sensitive role.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
