Job Summary:
This role provides hands-on experience turning data into meaningful insights to support key finance and business decisions. 
As a Reporting Analyst, you’ll help design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards, ensure data accuracy, and deliver timely analytics that contribute to high quality, data-driven decision making.


Where is the work:  
From Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. On Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires. Prioritize engaging with customers. When not directly interacting with customers; collaborate with colleagues in your office  
 

What you will do:   

  • Work with finance and key business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and support gathering analytics requirements.
  • Collaborate with product owners to translate business needs into a clear visual mock-up and contribute to business requirements documents
  • Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights using basic statistical and analytical techniques
  • Perform data gathering, cleaning, and validation from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality
  • Help design and build intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate financial data business insights.
  • Maintains and updates existing analytic dashboards and reports, ensuring data & visual remains accurate and up to date.
  • Troubleshoot issues or errors in the analytic dashboards and reports with guidance from senior team members. 
  • Monitors data quality to identify data issues, proposing & documenting recommendations for improvements.

 

What you will bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in progress for data science, statistics, mathematics, information science, finance, or related field
  • Project experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and analysis
  • Project experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker and Excel
  • Project experience with data cleansing and transformation tools such as Dataiku, Alteryx, Big Query, Looker etc. 
  • Basic SQL and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and concepts for both descriptive and inferential statistics
  • Basic finance knowledge and business acumen to understand and interpret financial data in the context of business operations.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices to effectively communicate insight
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex datasets and generate meaningful insights
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to learn new tools and concepts quickly
  • Reliable time management for meeting deadlines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future  


Compensation:   
Base Pay Range: $22 - $27/HR
