The Regional Retail Excellence Leader is tasked with implementing and coaching standard processes and tools, fostering people development, and spearheading initiatives within Trane Supply Stores to enhance productivity, consistency, and customer satisfaction. This hybrid position requires up to 70% travel within the designated geography.

Where is the work:

  • From Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. On Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires

 

What you will do:   

  • Drive profitable growth by enabling stores to meet their revenue and margin goals.

  • Enhance operational performance of Supply Retail Locations.

  • Boost store productivity through process improvements and enhancements.

  • Collaborate with Regional General Manager and Retail Operations Leaders to identify improvement areas using data analysis and Lean tools.

  • Achieve certification as a Master Coach in RMX (Retail Management Excellence).

  • Coach, develop, and train frontline leaders on the RMX program and disciplines within the Supply business.

  • Train and coach on the adoption of MDI / 9 Step Problem Solving.

  • Provide training and coaching on sales and merchandising skills.

  • Conduct regular visits to personnel at all stores.

  • Exemplify engaging customer-facing behaviors and exceptional customer service.

  • Ensure compliance with standard work and quality standards for all parts operations and sales processes, ensuring effective and efficient execution of business objectives and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure adherence to Company safety programs and procedures, conduct safety audits, ensure training compliance, provide safety training as needed, and reinforce a strong safety culture.

  • Train, review, and coach the use of the Trane Supply Standard Scorecard.

  • Collaborate with other functional groups to ensure optimal output for retail stores.

 

What you will bring: 

  • 5+ years of sales and operations management experience, preferably in the HVAC equipment, service, and supply industry.

  • Knowledge of HVAC sales, distribution, and retail business practices is preferred.

  • Related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to work harmoniously with all members of the organization and demonstrate this ability consistently.

  • Proven capability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Compensation: 

From $120,000 and up based on experience and will include a monthly incentive plan plus a company car

Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan at 30%

This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
