A fantastic opportunity to join our Sales Team based at Trane Slovakia for an experienced Sales Engineer. This role will cover the Zilina,Trencin and Nitra regions. 

Maximize customer and order acquisition in line with company strategy. Overall responsibility for Rental & Service sales and customer development in an assigned sales territory, by providing customer value through technical and commercial expertise and partnering. Service sales responsibility for selected groups of customers in an assigned territory. Rental responsibility for assigned region 

 Responsibilities:         

Rental: 

  • Identify and target potential customers in various industries requiring container cold storage and chiller solutions. 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities. 
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities. 
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, regularly updating the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts. 
  • Collaborate with the company’s entire sales force to work effectively to increase productivity. 
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, helping them select the most suitable system solutions based on their specific requirements. 
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate customer needs, ensuring accurate and efficient container cold storage & Trane rental solutions are proposed. 

Service: 

  • Customer & order acquisition for Service products 
  • Identify potential opportunities with existing and new customers 
  • Identify sales opportunities, elaborate proposals and coordinate other processes to ensure important level of customer satisfaction 
  • Encourage customer growth and loyalty to the company through continuous support and customer assistance 
  • Prepare and review contract terms and conditions using standard Trane contract templates when applicable 
  • Develop, evaluate, and discuss practical solutions with customer - create quotes and offers & present the proposal to the customer 
  • Actively participate in teamwork for projects/jobs - cooperating closely with Service Technicians as well as other Sales Engineers 
  • Keep customer data base updated 
  • Implement European and local Service Business programs 
  • Achieve assigned sales and customer development quota through focus on service customer acquisition and development  

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering). 
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, along with high integrity and capacity to deal with changing priorities. 
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in Technical Services business, container cold storage or refrigeration industry. 
  • Communicative level of English. 
  • Well-organized and able to handle several different projects and tasks simultaneously  
  • Technical knowledge of refrigeration systems and container cold storage solutions. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers. 
  • Ability to understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions. 
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven record of accomplishment of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills. 
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Active driving license. 
  • Ability to work with different departments, collaboratively
