Sales Engineer Team Lead
Trane Croatia is the Croatian subsidiary of Trane TechnologiesTM, representing Trane brand products and services in Croatia. Trane is a market leader in industrial and commercial cooling and heating solutions, including air conditioning systems, heat pumps, refrigeration equipment, and other HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems. Trane is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will partner with Country Manager to own the customer experience for sales. He/She will be responsible for developing and executing account-specific business plans, converting leads into opportunities, managing sales accounts, and supervising the sales team. This role requires a strong technical background in HVAC systems, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to travel to customer job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute business plans to build strong, profitable partnerships and achieve sales targets.
Manage sales accounts, create monthly forecasts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Convert leads into opportunities, create proposals, and present them to customers.
Supervise and manage a team of Sales Engineers, providing coaching and training.
Handle and resolve complex customer feedback and complaints.
Improve work standards and optimize service processes using lean management.
Assist customers with technical questions on HVAC systems and Trane products.
Report according to company rules and use obligatory software/programs.
Travel to customer job sites, which may include outdoor work and exposure to variable environmental conditions.
Required Qualifications:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC sales or a related technical sales role.
Experience in supervising a sales team would be an advantage.
Strong technical knowledge with HVAC systems and small team management experience preferred.
Ability to interact effectively with customers, sales assistants, and field sales force.
Results-driven, must be tactful, assertive and effective.
Must be willing to travel to customer job sites 3-4 days a week.
