Job Summary:

The position is responsible to ensure in achieving team’s overall annual operating plan (AOP) targets.

The role is responsible for expanding the market coverage in the Visayas and Mindanao (VisMin) area and leads in increasing the market share partnering with the Applied Team in Manila. Furthermore, He/She supports the Equipment sales engineers and leaders in the management of client relationships and in the negotiation of contracts with key customers in VisMin.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

·         Proactively engage owners, consultants and general contractors to increase market share in Visayas Mindanao (VisMin) by providing solutions thru Trane Applied Product Offering & Contracting Portfolio.

·         Develop and implement sales strategies in order to achieve business’ short- and long-term goals.

·         Collaborate and influence owners, consultant and general contractors thru spec in of Trane Product Offerings that matches customer needs.

·         Provide guidance, coaching and direct assistance in resolving customer issues.

·         Schedule weekly and monthly meetings with the Applied team to discuss VisMin Sales opportunities and performance.

·         Prepare required business report to Country Manager and attend all required business meetings.

·         Observe Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance on all transaction and ensures to conform company policy and safety regulations.

 

 

Strategy and Planning.  Helps to develop short and long term strategy for a product or portfolio, through leveraging market insights, identifying key initiatives, prioritizing high value opportunities and developing a comprehensive product positioning strategy that supports profitable growth overtime.

Market Insights Development. Analyze customer requirements, industry trends, competitor dynamics, purchasing behavior, and market segmentation in order to support a data and insight driven growth strategy.

Customer & Competitor Insights. Gather and analyzes data on how customers use and value our products or services, customer unmet needs and pain points, customer needs, customer purchasing behavior, industry trends, competitor dynamics, market share and market segmentation to build a robust product line fact base.

Customer Value Creation. Explore customer underlying issues and needs that suggest broader solutions, maximizing the productiveness of sales interactions by building on customer to gain commitment to products, services, and solutions, promoting a path forward which matches customer needs with Trane Technologies (TT) Strength.

Product Knowledge. Has in-depth knowledge of overall product portfolio, application & technical specification which would help drive overall performance of the team.

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree with over 10 years HVAC sales experience. Preferably Licensed Mechanical Engineer

·         Must have a proven record of accomplishments in the HVAC sales growth.

·         Must have a strong leadership background and must know how to handle and manage problems effectively and efficiently.

·         Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
