Job Summary:
Trane in Atlanta is hiring an Inside Sales Specialist. As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be supporting our outside sales team within the Southeast region. This department focuses on Light Commercial Unitary Equipment (3-25 tons) in replacement commercial applications. In this position, you will be supporting outside sales and customers from the time of inquiry to delivery, which requires equipment identification, quoting, order confirmation/purchase order receipt, pricing, order processing, expediting, and problem solving. Experienced inside sales specialists may be assigned to special projects, which require hands-on supervision of highly complex orders or those that require significant coordination with external entities. As you become more experienced, you can support the outside sales force with lead generation, market intelligence, and contact with existing customers.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a key contact to sales team and customers to provide information on complete sales cycle from quote through delivery.
- Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Issue PO’s
- Manage budgets
- Close out projects
- Process new orders
- Ensure the order process is complete and error-free.
- Manage projects through receipt of order to installation (i.e., shipment scheduling, customer communication, expediting, problem solving, etc.)
- Estimating/Quoting Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product knowledge for strategic and competitive application
- Develop quotes from identified customer needs:
- Determine and select appropriate equipment in Trane Selection Software
- Set pricing and generate proposals
- Maintain the LCUR data log information to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Mentor peers and share standard methodologies with those less experienced as needed
Qualifications:
- Customer service and inside sales experience preferred. Ability to understand the need, solve problems, and respond in an efficient manner
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- A strong knowledge and comfort level with computers.
- HVAC experience preferred but not required.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems effectively, lead by example, and even help make strategic decisions to enhance the LCUR team
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: Base Pay Range: $49,500- $100,500/ annually. Total compensation range for this role will include a local incentive plan.
