Senior Engineer - Product Engineering

We are looking for a talented Senior Product Engineer to facilitate the design and manufacturing of our current and next line of exciting products. As a Senior Product Engineer, you will be working closely with the Design and Cross Functional Teams to create industry-relevant products that meet company specifications.
Job Summary:
The Senior Product Engineer will manage simple to complex projects or phases of a project to ensure the completion of milestones within budget, tracks performance and progress of projects against committed timelines. Projects could be NPD, Agile, NTP, Productivity, RTS or Q&R type. This role calls for collaboration with cross functional and multi-location teams to ensure that the projects are accomplished to a high quality, adhering to our standard processes, systems and project management principles, while remaining aligned with strategy and goals of the organization. Resolves unique problems that could occur during the project to minimize delays and provide timely status updates to the leadership team.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements, collaborate with project owners, leaders and cross functional teams across the globe for delivery of projects by adhering to standard processes, systems and Project Management Principles.
- Ensure the completion of project milestones/deliverables within committed Quality (Q), Delivery (D), Project Cost (C) and Product Cost (C), track performance and progress of project against committed QDC targets.
- Adhere to general Project Management Principles of Project Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Risk Management and Stakeholder Management.
- Drive Project Reviews.
- Develop Technical Documentations as needed.
- Work in close collaboration with suppliers for meeting project's quality and schedule requirements as committed.

- Expertise in Project Management.
- Self-starter with a desire to make a significant impact through Product Development Process.
- Ability to drive program specific goals and actions to closure.
- Develops and manages Project Budgets, Schedules and Timelines.
- Conduct Design FMEAs to develop and execute resulting risk mitigation plans.
- Meet the needs of internal and external customers, through documenting, understanding and prioritizing customer requirements.
- Both domestic and international travel may be required. Estimated travel is 10%.
- Excellent written and oral communication and facilitation skills.
- Good Interpersonal skills. Ability to learn and collaborate with cross cultural project teams.
- Exceptional influencing skills as project team members will not be one’s direct reports.
- Manages and resolves conflicts.
- Proficiency in MS project.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5-8 years of Project engineering experience is required.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering is a plus.
- PMP certification from PMI will be an added advantage.
