We are looking for a Senior Paralegal, who would be part of our Labor and Employment team, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, Labor & Employment.
Where is the work:
- From Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. On Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires
What you will do:
- Support the Labor & Employment team by maintaining litigation reports and files, drafting correspondence, and optimizing workflows
- Assist with employment litigation matters by issuing litigation hold notices, compiling and organizing discovery, and corresponding with external counsel
- Assist with pre-dispute and administrative charges by participating in Company investigations, and drafting responses to correspondence from attorneys, federal and state agencies, and other regulatory authorities
- Primary point of contact for employee information requests and subpoenas
- Researching specific legal issues and topics
- Assist in the benefit plan claims procedure process, including reviewing and revising claim letters
- Responsible for certain administrative duties, e.g., maintaining files, scheduling team meetings.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies
- 5-10+ years of paralegal or comparable experience
- Strong professionalism and skill in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple priorities while consistently meeting aggressive and time-sensitive deadlines
- Must be a proactive and forward-thinking and demonstrate initiative
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented and fun but fast-paced environment
Preferred, not required:
- Paralegal Certificate
- Previous experience with e-billing and matter management systems
- Previous experience overseeing a litigation docket and knowledge of ERISA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Compensation:
Base Pay Range:
- $79,950-106,550
