Service Sales Engineer C&S region - Lazio (m/w/d)
Trane Italia is looking for a new team member to join the Service Sales Team with the responsibility to manage Lazio area. As a Services Sales Engineer, you will join Trane’s best in class Commercial HVAC team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in building efficiency and sustainability through our Service offerings.
In this role, you are primarily responsible for delivering on our business strategy by developing long-term customer relationships with building owners and strengthening our existing customer base with a focus on providing customers a total solution for the most energy efficient buildings. You will bring your passion for solving problems, creating customer value, and building relationships to make an impact.
Responsibilities:
- Customer & order acquisition for service products
- Identify sales opportunities with existing and new customers, elaborate proposals and coordinate other processes to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
- Encourage customer growth and loyalty to the company through continuous support and customer assistance
- Perform according to company strategy in terms of customer channels, product mix and selling level
- Timely tracking and reporting of opportunities in Trane’s customer database
- Prepare and review contract terms and conditions using standard Trane contract templates when applicable
- Present the proposal to the customer
- Follows up with purchasing process stakeholders
- Develop, evaluate and discuss possible solutions with customer
- Achieve assigned sales and customer development quota through focus on service, customer acquisition and development
Requirements:
- Min. 5 years of industrial sales experience (preferably HVAC business)
- Market intelligence and understanding competition
- Proven selling skills with ability to deliver sales results
- Thermodynamic basics (refrigerant circuit, compressors)
- Advocates for Customers - cultivates strong, mutually-beneficial customer relationships and works to earn the trust of the customer by ensuring that the company delivers value and acquires customer-driven insights to effectively address issues, needs and opportunities
- Interpersonal Communication and Negotiation - Builds effective customer relationships that enable consultative selling approach to sell products, services and solutions
- Relationship and Trust Building – being able to build intimacy and trust so the customers will share details of their business.

- Fluent Italian and communicative English (min. B2)
- MS Office, Outlook
Nice to have:
- Local HVAC or Technical Services market knowledge
- HVAC and electrotechnics fundamentals
- Technical degree (Engineering/HVAC)
