Trane in Omaha, NE is hiring for a Service Sales Team Leader to join our organization. In this role you will be a player coach, you will be responsible for leading our service sales team (Coach) and developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention to grow our business (Player).  Where is the work:

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite/customer sites per week) based out of Omaha location.

 

What you will do:

        Team Coaching and Development:

    • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales representatives to guide them in achieving their individual targets.
    • Devise training programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities.
    • Identify areas of improvement for individual team members and create personalized development plans.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

    • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop sales strategies, objectives, and targets.
    • Lead by example by actively participating in sales activities and playing a direct sales role as needed.

Sales Team Collaboration and Communication:

    • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and teamwork.
    • Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress, share best practices, and address challenges.

 

What you will bring:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 

Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience and 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales leadership capacity strongly preferred.

Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: 

            DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

 

This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive. 

Compensation:

Total Target Compensation: $93,500 to $218,500
Total Target Cash represents a mix of fixed base salary plus payment from sales commissions.  Sales commissions plans are uncapped plans.

Our prosperous commission plans grow over time with a successful employee’s growing pipeline. Some sales professionals may eventually move to 100% commission.
