Job Summary:

In the Service Warehouse Support role, you will be responsible for supporting our service Techs in the field and organizing and maintaining parts staging in the warehouse. You will operate a service truck around the Washington area at customer sites and a forklift in the warehouse area. This is a full-time position and will require occasional overtime on weekends if the job tasking requires it. You need a Washington state drives license with a good driving record, a positive “can do” attitude that is motivated and wanting to be a part of a great team leading the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Uses a variety of hand tools/power tools.
  • Uses of computers.
  • Operate a company vehicle.
  • Operate a forklift (will provide training/certification.
  • Maintains stock of inventory, company equipment, and documents all service-related activities (including report writing).
  • Order and receive a variety of parts, equipment and materials. 
  • Communicating with HVAC Field Technicians on timing and schedules for getting jobs materials needed so they can complete their assignments in a timely fashion.
  • Deliver/pickup parts to job sites, as necessary.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

Education and/or Experience

Preferred experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning knowledge, but is not required. 

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This position requires working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms and possible extreme weather conditions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment.  The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage); and vibration.  The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Base Pay Range: $22-$28 /hr.
