Trane Technologies is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving I

As a Shipping and Receiving I receive inventory and ship materials based on LSS and customer need. Trane Technologies affords you the opportunity to work directly for a leading manufacturer, giving you access to technical support, training on the newest technology and comprehensive career paths with opportunity for growth. Where is the work:

This position has been designated as On-Site.   

What you will do:

·         Promotes values as demonstrated in personal productivity and quality of work, management of internal/external relationships, actively seeking out and participating in Continuous Improvement practices, and willingness to engage and support team initiatives. 

·         Comply with workplace safety procedures 

·         Regular and reliable attendance, which includes punctuality and working scheduled overtime, is necessary to meet our commitment to provide quality products and service to our customer. 

·         Cross-trained to perform the Shipping or Receiving responsibilities as needed. On a regular basis, performs one of the following: 

·         Shipping: 

o         Determines that the inventory is on hand and is packaged correctly according to FDA GMP requirements. 

o         Locate, stage and load product 

o         Label product with shipping label 

o         Ship finished goods 

·         Receiving: 

o         Use MRP System to receive material. 

o         Label material with product number 

o         Moves materials to the location that they will be used. 

·         Respond to questions, both email and verbal, about status of shipping and receiving. 

·         Other duties as assigned.  

What you will bring:

Relative Work Experience: Prefer 1-3 years related work experience including forklift experience.  

Education: High school diploma or GED required. 

Certifications / Licenses 

Computer Systems / Software: Strong computer skills required with knowledge of Outlook, Word and excel; Fourthshift, MRP, ERP preferred 

Specialized Training: Must successfully complete Forklift training.   Shipping BOLs, packaging methods required 

Additional Requirements:  

                         Must be willing and able to drive a forklift. 

·         Ability to multitask in fast paced environment (includes checking email while printing labels). 

·         Willing to work as a team and help team members and communicate effectively. 

·         Demonstrates ability to make timely and appropriate decisions based on standards. 

·         Ability to complete own work with little to no supervision. 

·         Capability to follow established procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; concentrate on routine work details amid periodic interruptions. 

·         Is open to the ideas, diverse views and opinions of others; offers opinions constructively; helps when needed. 

·         Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly on own.
