SIOP Manager
Job Summary:
The SIOP Manager has a variety of important responsibilities necessary to the transformational growth and development of Trane Technologies’ Integrated Supply Chain. This role will be responsible to provide hands on leadership and influence to drive engagement to create and lead a more accurate SIOP process throughout the business within the region, resulting in improvements in customer service, profitability, and working capital. One of the key performance indicators that will be utilized to measure the success the role will be forecasting accuracy (WMAPE), inventory turns, on time shipping and customer delivery.

Where is the work:
What you will do:
Drive all aspects of the SIOP process as well as thought leadership and Strategy Development and Deployment throughout the region.
Responsible to implement the Trane Techologies standardized SIOP process within the region to optimize the utilization of business resources, minimize working capital, maximize cash flow and exceed customer’s expectations for delivery.
Manage and support the SIOP process through effective stakeholder alignment and change management techniques.
Ensure the scheduling, preparation and facilitation of regular SIOP reviews.
Assist with the development of leading indicators that enable visibility to short and long term market trends and demand.
Identify the appropriate demand families (product family, product codes, etc) and establish their data relationship linkages.
Collaborate with product management, regional sales and marketing teams to develop the demand plan.
Develop a process for identification of new demand streams and impacts from engineering changes, product obsolescence’s, and transitions (Supply & Footprint).
Collaborate with Operations, Materials Management and Procurement to develop the supply plan by using: business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters; while identifying and setting stretch targets for customer service and working capital.
Facilitate the creation of a 12-18 month rolling unit and dollar consensus forecast.
Collaborate with the IT functional team to identify and implement new systems/applications that improve SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability; overall ownership for data integrity.
Develop and track appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
Support opportunities to improve SIOP capabilities.
Establish clear and robust metrics to measure progress through SIOP process improvements and their impacts to the sectors revenue plan.
Partner with Finance and SLT to ensure alignment of the SIOP process with the financial forecasting processes and working capital goals, including AOP and LRP.
Manage monthly SIOP process, action plans, issue resolution, and escalations.
Drive SIOP maturity and continuous improvement by utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
Champion, lead and participate key business Operational Excellence activities including VSM, Kaizens, and Rapid Improvement Events.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field is required. An MBA is preferred
5 years minimum product or materials management required.
Strong DataIQ and Tableau skills preferred
APICS CPIM preferred; if candidate does not have certification will be expected to achieve within first 24-36 months in role.
Demonstrated success in defining and implementing a SIOP process within a complex environment where data is not immediately available, and deductions will need to be drawn based on limited input.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills; has successfully facilitated initiatives that improve process and a culture of change.
Proactive change agent and possess leadership skills to build and maintain a team-oriented environment.
Individual must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to interface and influence up and down the organization to drive stakeholder buy-in.
Demonstrated mastery of project management and analytical skills.
In-depth understanding of world-class supply chain execution.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and the effective implementation of kaizen, six sigma and Kanban material management operational excellence tools and techniques.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $75,000-$110,000/annually
