Job Summary:
Trane in Denver, CO is hiring a Site Superintendent! The Site Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Construction Project Manager to assure that the projects are completed and maintain the standard of excellence established by the company and customer. Certain tasks will be assigned by the Assistant Construction Project Manager to take the lead on with little oversight. Along with working with the Construction Project Manager, this role will be given opportunity to execute selected projects including managing financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction. The Site Superintendent will ensure that quality standards are maintained across all tasks and projects.

Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinates and manages the care, custody, and control of the project site. This role requires onsite presence 80% of the time.
  • Responsible for site activities including project schedule, material procurement, project logistics, and temporary facility plans.
  • Responsible for understanding the project scope of work, project requirements, and project contacts.
  • Manages and implements the project’s schedule as needed.
  • Conduct project coordination and resolution meetings.
  • Complete and submit weekly, monthly, and daily reporting on project progress and work completed.
  • Verifies quality compliance through use of approved project specifications, subcontractor quality standards, and Trane QA/QC internal resources.
  • Partners with subcontractors to establish field staffing for the project.
  • Manages on site deliveries, material placement, and equipment needs for the project.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with our customers, internal team, subcontractors, and city/county/state inspectors.
  • Works with Project Manager in contract scope of work creation and negotiation with awarded subcontractors.
  • Weekend and after hours work may be required and is dependent on the project scope of work.
  • Majority of projects will be within 60 miles of Denver, but there could be out of town work within 100 miles of Denver. 

Safety:

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Prior to starting project sitework, finishes Trane's provided safety training.
  • Works directly with Trane's Safety leadership concerning site safety plans, weekly safety meetings, and daily job hazard analysis documentation.
  • Works with assigned Trane Project Manager by performing risk analysis and developing risk plans.
  • Work with subcontractors on site safety awareness. 

Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Capable of managing multiple assigned projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proficient in project managing programs and software, such as:  ProCore, BlueBeam, and MS Project.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years Construction experience - proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical. 
  • 3 years Superintendent experience.
  • CO license in either Construction, Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing preferred.
  • Understands project permitting processes and requirements.  
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
      • DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Base Pay Range: $60,000 - $115,000 / year
