Trane is excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Service Technician – Chillers & HVAC to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will:
- Support Commissioning & Field Operations
• Commission chillers and HVAC systems and conduct timely service activities. - Perform High-Quality Repairs & Technical Troubleshooting
• Repair all types of HVAC equipment and handle chiller and low-side system complaints. - Engage with Customers & Build Strong Relationships
• Conduct customer follow-ups, attend scheduled meetings, and address service requirements professionally. - Collaborate with Team Members & Coordinate Activities
• Work with the Service Coordinator on parts, manpower planning, and scheduling; participate in weekly team meetings. - Champion Safety, Quality, and Compliance
• Follow Trane’s EHS standards, ensure safety and vehicle audit requirements are met, and provide accurate service documentation.

What will you do:
In this role, you will deliver field service excellence through commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer collaboration. Responsibilities include:
• Commissioning of chillers and HVAC systems.
• Repairing all types of HVAC equipment.
• Conducting customer follow-ups and attending scheduled meetings.
• Coordinating with the Service Coordinator on manpower movements and part requirements.
• Leading weekly meetings with the team on safety, site audits, and backlog concerns.
• Updating the Service Manager and Coordinator on monthly plans.
• Attending and resolving complaints for all chiller models and low-side equipment.
• Carrying out timely PPM for chillers as per company SOP.
• Performing RCA for failures and sharing findings with the Quality team and FFL.
• Ensuring compliance with Trane’s EHS guidelines.
• Handling all customer service requirements and providing timely solutions.
• Generating service-related leads during field interactions.
• Ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality job execution.
• Providing daily reports to the office and ASM.
• Sharing service reports with the deployer along with parts requirements.
• Maintaining a valid driving license for 4-wheeler/2-wheeler.
• Ensuring adherence to safety and vehicle audit requirements.
• Applying practical hands-on experience in chiller installation, warranty activities, and AMC services.
• Using MS Office, Internet, and email applications for documentation and reporting.
What you will bring: (Skills & Competencies)
• Strong technical knowledge of chillers and HVAC equipment.
• Hands-on experience in commissioning, repairing, and servicing chillers.
• Familiarity with MS Office, email, and basic digital tools.
• Strong customer interaction and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a coordinated team.
• Commitment to safety, EHS compliance, and high-quality service delivery.
• Good problem-solving and task management skills.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Graduation, Diploma, or ITI in Mechanical, R&AC, Electrical, or Electronics.
• Minimum of 5+ years of on-site experience working on chillers.
• Strong technical knowledge of chiller systems.
