Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and commissioning of Applied HVAC Systems, Environmental Control Systems, and water treatment Services. This technician must have the ability to recognize and understand all the various system types encountered in our industry and utilize fundamental understanding of building and systems design, control sequencing, and IAQ principles to make recommendations for the improvement of systems performance and efficiency.


  • 4 to 9 years HVAC Field Experience

  • Unitary Controls
  • Control System Front End Operation Programming (set up and programming)
  • Water Treatment Systems
  • IntelliPak
  • Steam Boiler
  • Roof Top Units
  • CenTraVac Units
  • Absorption Chillers
  • Turn Key solutions
  • Integrated  controls solution
  • Central plant services

Technical Skills

  •  Those of the Commercial Equipment Specialist
  • Fundamental understanding of building and systems design
  • Control sequencing
  • IAQ principles
  • Analysis (Refrigerant, Oil, and Vibration)
  • Basic CPL and TPG programming
  • Project management skills

  • Take ownership of your schedule, by reviewing daily your short term and long term scheduling assignments, work closely with Service Coordinator and Tech Coach to assure we have the most effective and proficient schedule.
  • Secure, tools, parts, equipment and required knowledge for job assigned to you (Service Agreements, Quoted and T&M jobs) to assure work is completed as promised to customer in an effective, productive and professional manor.
  • Plan, organize, and inspect using quality improvement process.
  • Dedicates required time and energy to assignments or tasks to insure that no aspect of the work is neglected.
  • Prioritizes when appropriate. Stays focused and uses time effectively.
  • Effectively allocates own time to complete work; coordinating schedule to avoid conflicts.
  • Leverages resources (individuals, processes, departments, and tools) to complete work efficiently. Coordinates with internal and external partners.
  • Collaboratively delegate’s responsibility and authority to others when work can be done more effectively.
